Shine On

This time last year I sat at a cafe at the beach with my brother. We’d just done Park Run. I drank peppermint tea and we took in the gorgeous view.

So much has changed in a year, and yet life goes on. Despite everything the sun still shines. It gives certainty in a time of change, when there’s moments that all you can do is take one breath, and then the next. When grief strikes, when fires burn, when the world spins into chaos, the sun still shines. It gives me courage and strength.

I hope it does the same for you too.
